Maureen, of Gresford, passed away peacefully on 7th August 2022 at Wrexham Maelor Hospital, aged 87 years.
Dearly loved wife of the late Carl. A loving mum to Andrew, Martin, Deborah and Patrick and a cherished grandma to all her grandchildren.

Maureen will be sorely missed by many in the Newman Association. As well as giving a huge amount of her time to Wrexham Newman Circle as a very committed and lively secretary for many years, and on several occasions a speaker, Maureen was a former President of Newman Council and served as an active member of Council for many years. Maureen's enthusiasm for John Henry Newman and everything connected to him was infectious. She was very knowledgeable about him and was always very happy to talk about his life and work.
Our thoughts are with her family.
